In August, CoreTech and ULVAC-PHI have held a press release for the new products of XPS before 2016 China Applied and Academic User meeting of Surface Analysis. More than 50 users of ULVAC-PHI and some professional on investigating surface analysis techniques were invited to the user meeting.CoreTech is the representative of ULVAC-PHI in the region of China. CoreTech and ULVAC-PHI have been started the cooperated relationship from 2007. CoreTech has 8 advanced service engineers now and they are all qualified to provide the best service with comprehensive problem-solving solutions.During the speech of the Executive Managing Director of ULVAC-PHI Mr. Ichiro Kimura and the Managing Director of CoreTech Dr. Huck Chen, both of them expressed that ULVAC-PHI is up together with Coretech as an union to work in the China market. CoreTech has acted as the role of PHI in China for many years. They do appreciate the user’s comments on ULVAC-PHI’s instruments and services and hope to reinforce the user’s communication and interaction through this platform. In the user meeting, CoreTech and ULVAC-PHI presented the sincere thanks and gratitude to Mr. Cao Lili and Mr. Liu Chinghua from Tsinghua University who have made contributions and supported Phi instruments for 20 years.CoreTech China Executive Director Wensly Yip presented the new product, technique and application with two specialists from ULVAC-PHI in the press release. He introduced the new released product of XPS, which is the PHI 5000 VersaProbe III. This is a multi-functional instrument of XPS. The WCAM-2016 successfully held in Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Chongqing, China on June 6-8. The theme of this conference is "Innovation Boosting - Made in China 2025".   This is an international conference. There were about 300 honored guests presented at the ceremony and gave brilliant speeches by invitation. ULVAC-PHI Incorporated and CoreTech Integrated Limited were honored to be invited to this conference. This annual congress comprised four parts, Scientific and Tech Program, Industrial Symposia, Young Investigator Forum, and Exhibition, totally 11 Tracks and 30 sessions following the ceremony. In summary, 300 reports have been presented professionally and lively. Dr. ShinIchi lida (ULVAC-PHI Analytical Laboratory Staff Manager), Mr. Takuji Shibasaki (ULVAC-PHI Asia Pacific Sales Manager) and Mr. Wensly Yip (CoreTech China Executive Director) gave a talk professionally to the participants by giving some good ideas and suggestions.   CoreTech & ULVAC-PHI set up a booth at the conference.   Dr. ShinIchi lida had given a talk to the audiences.

With the growth of the steel industry technology, how to utilize the surface analysis technique to assist the related research had became very important in recent years in the Great China.  CoreTech as the role of PHI in China had the advantage of much experience in the field and had been well-known to provide different types of surface analysis tools with unique application techniques as the solutions to the users in China.   In December-2015, as invited by Bao Steel Shanghai Analysis Laboratory, CoreTech China Executive Director Mr. Wensly Yip and Senior Sales Manager Ms. Lucy Lu as representing CoreTech company to organize the Surface Analysis workshop together with Bao Steel in their Shanghai factory located in Baoshan.   During the workshop, Bao Steel Analysis Laboratory Principal Ms. Shen Wei gave an opening speech to emphasize the theme of the workshop.  Mr. Wensly Yip represents Ulvac-Phi had talked about some company future planning in China with some new technologies introduction.  After that, Dr. Chen Sheng and Ms. Xue Fei from Bao Steel had also given a talk on some AES & XPS on Steels applications.  Follow to that, Ms. Lucy Lu had provided a very detailed presentation on different industries application about Surface Analysis.  Finally, Mr. Wensly Yip closed out the workshop with a training class on XPS data interpretation.  Upon final closing, both Bao Steel and CoreTech considered the event was very much successful and show the high interest of re-doing same kinds of the workshop periodically while believe it would be a very useful discussion for all.   CoreTech as PHI in China would aim to organize similar events with the Surface analysis Instrument users and believe it would contribute not only to the success of one or two parties, but rather really be doing good for the overall Surface Analysis users in China so bringing the final success to all the users in the field.   Ms Shen Wei is giving an opening speech   Surface analysis Workshop
